Rep. Darrell Issa, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California’s 48th district since 2021, has recently expressed his views on various political issues through a series of tweets. Issa, who replaced Duncan D. Hunter in Congress, continues to be an active voice on social media.
On June 12, 2025, Issa commented on the situation in California by stating that “Democrats in California are only rioting because they’re afraid President Trump will deport some of their most reliable voters.” This tweet reflects his perspective on the motivations behind certain actions within the state.
Later, on June 13, 2025, Issa addressed perceptions about Democrats with a post saying “Democrats get mad when you say they’re unserious.” The tweet included a link to additional content that further elaborates on this viewpoint.
In another tweet posted shortly after on the same day, Issa shared a link accompanied by the hashtag #FoxNews: “https://t.co/RcUTaqGEAC #FoxNews”. This suggests his engagement with media outlets that align with his political stance.
Darrell Issa was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1953 and currently resides in San Diego. He graduated from Siena Heights University in 1976 with a BA degree.
