Former Grossmont High School standout Alexis Fleischer played on Friday, May 16 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division III Softball Championship

On Friday, May 16, former Grossmont High School standout Alexis Fleischer’s current collegiate team the UMass Boston Beacons lost 0-11 against the Ithaca Bombers in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Kostrinsky Field at 5:10 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Ithaca Bombers in the tournament.

The UMass Boston Beacons’ next game will take place on Friday, May 16 at 5:10 p.m. at Kostrinsky Field.
