On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Grossmont High School standout Brodie Romero’s current college team, the Arkansas–Monticello Boll Weevils, won 14-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Missouri Western Griffons.

The game took place at Weevils Field at Union Bank Park. This was their third matchup against the Griffons this season.

The Boll Weevils’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 16 at 4 p.m. at Weevils Field at Union Bank Park against Southern Nazarene Crimson Storm.
