On Monday, Feb. 17, three former Grossmont High School standouts, including Jack Hyde, Scott Wood and Vito Fowler’s current college team, the Concordia Irvine Golden Eagles, won 7-0 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Vanguard Lions.

The game took place at Golden Eagles Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Lions this season.

The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. at Golden Eagles Field against Menlo Oaks.
