On Saturday, March 15, three former Grossmont High School standouts, including Jack Hyde, Scott Wood and Vito Fowler’s current college team, the Concordia Irvine Golden Eagles, won 3-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Point Loma Sea Lions.

The game took place at Golden Eagles Field. This was their second matchup against the Sea Lions this season.

The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 12 p.m. at Russell Carr Field against Westmont Warriors.
