Joslyn Woodard, former Chaparral High School standout’s collegiate team plays on Saturday, May 17 in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship

On Saturday, May 17, former Chaparral High School standout Joslyn Woodard’s current collegiate team the Virginia Wesleyan Marlins lost 12-4 against the Messiah Falcons in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Tom and Betty Broyles Field at TowneBank Park at 1:30 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Messiah Falcons in the tournament.

The Virginia Wesleyan Marlins’ next game will take place on Thursday, May 22 at 2 p.m. at Tom and Betty Broyles Field at TowneBank Park.
