On Friday, Feb. 21, former West Hills High School standout Samiya Wright’s current college team, the Portland State Vikings, lost 9-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Grand Canyon Antelopes.

The game took place at GCU Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Antelopes this season.

The Vikings’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 4 p.m. at Alberta B. Farrington Softball Stadium against Arizona State Sun Devils.
