Rep. Darrell Issa, a U.S. Congressman representing California’s 48th district since 2021, has recently shared his views on various political issues through a series of tweets. Born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1953 and currently residing in San Diego, Issa has been an active voice in Congress after replacing Duncan D. Hunter.

On June 5, 2025, Rep. Issa expressed skepticism about the leadership of President Biden by stating: “Incredible that President Autopen issues a statement to convince us he was really in charge.”

Later that day, he addressed immigration policies with a call for reform: “We need to make it a lot easier to deport illegals than it is right now.”

On June 6, 2025, Rep. Issa commented on healthcare provisions for undocumented immigrants: “I already knew Democrats want us to give illegals free health care.”

Darrell Issa holds a BA from Siena Heights University and has been involved in legislative matters concerning immigration and healthcare during his tenure.
