Rep. Darrell Issa, who represents California’s 48th district in the U.S. Congress, has recently posted a series of tweets addressing national political figures and events.
On October 16, 2025, Issa commented on a political rivalry by stating, “Gavin Newsom is no match for @JDVance. That’s why he can’t tell the truth.”
Two days later, on October 18, 2025, Issa made an accusation against President Joe Biden: “Joe Biden welcomed terrorists into our country and invited them to stay.”
Later that same day, he marked a military anniversary while criticizing California Governor Gavin Newsom’s actions regarding an event at Camp Pendleton: “Today is the 250th anniversary celebration of @USMC at Camp Pendleton in California.
